Finally, the Monarchs!

This week is my 3rd week working in the field with the MMMILC project. It went by a lot faster this time around with the students, including myself, being able to get the hang of things. My partners, Jacob and Shaili, saw a lot of caterpillars today, more than the usual and they were pretty big! Not only did we get to catch the caterpillars, we were also able to see a couple monarchs both on and flying around the plants. It’s always nice to see how the plants improve, or don’t, within the weeks. Hopefully, we’ll be able to see more and more caterpillars and monarchs!
