Looks like we are starting to lose some live plants out there. If you see plant that looks dead, please mark it as DEAD, not NE.
Check out the last two panels especially – an increasing trend of larvae per week, and they are still quite large on average. Not many eggs – are there eggs hiding out there? Keep an eye out for those monarch eggs!
Addendum: Some folks saw a monarch prepupa today – here is a video of the transformation from a 5th instar caterpillar to a chrysalis (a.k.a. a pupa) and here is a video of a monarch adult emerging from a chrysalis. (You can speed up the videos in YouTube.)
